With over 17 years in the industry, my passion for hair and beauty STILL grows daily! I feel so blessed to have a career that I absolutely LOVE! My mission is to make everyone as beautiful outside as they are on the inside. As a kid, my favorite things to do was makeover my friends and have photo shoots. Apparently, I haven’t changed much lol! I specialize in listening to each and every client, which is unfortunately overlooked a lot in my industry. Consultation is the foundation and most important part of each service. As a seasoned stylist, I have unfortunately heard so many “hair stories” of stylists that overlook the importance of understanding who their client is and the overall look they want to achieve before leaving the salon. “Hairdresser language” can be be extremely intimidating, so I make it my mission to create a mutual understanding between us. Even if a client is unsure of what they are looking for, with the right questions I can successfully “read your mind”. It’s such a thrill! As a former KMS educator, I was extremely lucky to teach a class based on customizing the client experience to other stylists. This focused on face shape, hair texture, body proportion, proper product recommendations, and client education. Through educating others, I enhanced my own understanding and took the quality of my services to an even higher level! I have extensive training in many methods of hair cutting, and spent half of my career as a designer at Gene Juarez Salons and Spas. Specializing in cutting and design helped me become an expert, which is hard to find. I feel that cut and color must enhance each other, so I ventured out on my own and leased a chair at what is now Lux Salon and Spa. I intentionally surrounded myself with other high-end artists that were exceptional at color. I immersed myself in color education classes, and spent almost 10 years bringing my color expertise to the same level as my design skills. I use that intense passion, skill ,as well as my perfectionism to make sure that each and every masterpiece I create is balanced and absolutely gorgeous! I specialize in Balayage, Foilayage, Babylights as well as many other creative foiling and combination highlighting techniques! As fashion has progressed, many times I will combine multiple techniques to achieve the desired result which has been such a fun game changer over recent years! As artists it’s extremely important that we keep one step ahead of the trends to ensure that you are always up to date with with your style and it’s my job to ensure that each of my clients has shiny, healthy hair as well, so I will ALWAYS recommend a Bonding treatment (I use Brazilian Blowout B3) with each color service to not only prevent damage to the hair but ensure the integrity is at an optimal level! I also carry an array of strengthening and moisturizing treatments depending on what I prescribe for the hair to ensure that we are able to repair any past damage as well. To compliment any haircut or color I also offer multiple Keratin Smoothing treatments to close the cuticle and allow your hair to be as easy to maintain and style in the least amount of time with little effort! Cancellation Policy
We all have changes in plans and last minute emergencies. I completely understand the need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. However, due to the current Covid-19 occupancy restrictions and limited appointment openings no-shows or cancellations within 48 hours of your appointment will be charged a 50% cancellation fee and will require a 50% deposit on all future services.
**If rescheduling/cancelling within 48 hours due to illness or flu-like symptoms the fee will be waived at providers discretion.if this is the case, please contact me ASAP. As much notice as possible will be appreciated in these cases, so I can fill your appointment time with another client.
Services that have longer appointment times in excess of 4 hours will require a 50%deposit if new to the salon or if services have been cancelled frequently in the past.
If last minute cancellations and no shows continue, I reserve the right to no longer schedule appointments for future services.
